i've spent most of my life so far living in akron, ohio 

in a house that has a purple front door and a lilac bush in the front yard that never blooms

in august of 2011 i moved to pittsburgh, pa

to finish my bachelors degree + start a new life

the purpose of this blog is to chronicle my experiences

as i'm living in a new city 

with a cat called GG 

and more shoes than i know what to do with.
